7-up Pound Cake

1/2 cup shortening
1 cup margarine, softened
2-1/2 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
8 oz 7-Up
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon butter flavoring

Cream shortening, margarine, and sugar together. Add eggs. Alternate adding flour, 7-Up, and flavors into cream mixture and blend well.

Bake in a greased Bundt pan at 325° for 1 hour and 30 minutes

7-up Cake

3 sticks butter
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
2 tablespoons lemon extract
3/4 cup 7-UP

Cream butter and sugar together for 20 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time; add the flour and the lemon extract; mix well. Fold in the 7-Up.

Pour into well-greased 12-cup bundt pan.

1 3 oz box lime Jello
1 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 8-ounce package cream cheese
1 tsp teaspoon vanilla
1 can crushed pineapple (2 cups) drained
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1 7-ounce bottle Seven-up

3 cups cake flour (preferably Swan Cake Flour)
3 cups sugar
1 lb butter, room temperature
6 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup 7-UP (can substitute with Sprite)

Preheat oven to 350°.

Seven Up Salad

2 packages lemon Jello
2 cups boiling water
2 cups Seven-Up
2 bananas
13 ounces drained crushed pineapple
1 cup small marshmallows
1 tablespoon flour
1 egg
1/3 cup sugar
1 cup whipped cream

Dissolve Jello in boiling water and cool. Add Seven-Up, banana, pineapple and marshmallows. Let stand until firm.

Save pineapple juice and add to it the flour, egg and sugar.
